Terms & Conditions

Production information
All jewelry in solid 14K gold, 18K gold or platinum are “handmade-to-order”, which means that the item is crafted only after you’ve placed the order and successfully went through with your payment.

Estimated time for production
The estimated time frame for our crafting process is 4 to 6 weeks at the moment.

Sometimes the production time is longer due to a holiday season or abnormally high order volumes. In the case that we do have longer crafting times, there will be an announcement text at the top of our shop (this website) that informs you about this and how much longer the production time is expected to be.

Placing a “rushed order”
If you need extra fast production and delivery time, please contact us via email to check if your suggested delivery date can be achieved or not.

Return Policy
Since most of our items are handmade-to-order(custom-made products), there are typically no returns or exchanges unless there is a crafting or production defect with the item. Please contact us via email within 3 days of receiving the product if you received an item that had a defect and we will work together with you to resolve the issue without any hesitation. If the defective item can’t be repaired or replaced, we will issue a full refund once the item is shipped back to us in it’s original conditions. 

Returning an item
If you would like to return your ring for a personal reason which does not fall in our first policy category (defect item), please contact us via email within 3 days of receiving the item to get your request considered on a case-by-case basis. 

Please note that the amount of time and effort we spent on each order are not refundable, therefore there will be a restocking fee of 40% for all returns unrelated to a craftsmanship defect of the item(s).

If your item was not made-to-order
Items that are not made upon your order can be returned for a full refund.

All items must be returned in its original condition without any signs of wear or alteration. We reserve the right to decline a return if the item shows signs of wear, has been altered in any way, or if the return is requested after the allowed 3 days. Engraved items and orders with special custom changes are not eligible for return. Discounted items are final sale and are not eligible for return. The buyer is always responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us, if the product is damaged or lost during the transport, the buyer is responsible for the loss.

Shipping to Sweden
When you are sending an item back to Sweden, please indicate on your package that the item is “Swedish goods returning to Sweden for repair”. Buyers from non-EU countries will be responsible for any charges imposed on packages returned by Customs. Please make sure the shipment is traceable all the way and properly packed. We are not responsible for any damage or loss during the transport.


It’s essential to determine your correct finger size before ordering. Most of our rings can only be resized up or down by about 1.5 sizes. Otherwise, it may require a complete remaking of the ring, and the cost of remaking a ring is 40% of its original price.  

If you ordered the wrong size, we recommend resizing it at a local jewelry store. This option will take away the risk and cost of shipping a high-value item back and forth, and you may be able to get your ring(s) back in a more timely manner.  Most of our rings are easily resizable for a skillful jeweler. You are welcome to contact us if you can’t solve it locally, and we will be happy to help at a cost.

Our re-sizing cost ranges between 100USD to 150USD for a ring, plus an additional fee of 60USD for shipping the ring(s) back to you.

You will be responsible for shipping the ring(s) to us with proper packaging, tracking, and insurance. Our typical turnaround time for resizing is 3 to 6 weeks (from the time we receive the package&payment).

When sending back your item to Sweden, mark it as “RETURNED GOODS FOR REPAIR” to avoid any Customs charges. Buyers from non-EU countries will be responsible for any charges imposed on Customs’ returned packages.

Note: Some designs and settings, like our eternity rings, are not resizable. All rings can only be resized within a limited range (we can size up or down for 1.5 sizes at most). If your ring is resized too much, diamonds on the ring shank/band may fall out easily in the future. 

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry and provide 60 days warranty against all craftsmanship defects. If you notice any issue with your Sunday Island jewelry within 60 days from the delivery date, please contact us to arrange for an inspection. If we determine that a craftsmanship defect is present, we will service your jewelry at no additional cost to you. If we determine that the damage is outside of our responsibility, we will quote you a price for the service and only move forward once we have your approval.

Our 60 days manufacturing warranty service covers:
 1. Replacing lost accent stone(s) for free within 60 days from the delivery date. 
 2. Routine inspection, cleaning, and/or polishing.
 3. Correcting any craftsmanship defects.  

Our 60 days manufacturing warranty does NOT include:
1. Fine jewelry is not impervious to normal wear, activities, or trauma. Our warranty coverage excludes normal wear and tear, resulting in loss of gemstones, bent prongs or any artificial abuse.
2. We do not cover damaged, stained, lost or chipped center stone unless the defect is present upon arrival. You must notify us within 2 days of receipt if the center stone arrives in unsatisfactory condition. 
3. Repair, sizing, or other service performed by someone other than us will automatically void all warranties.
4. Theft or loss of the jewelry.

We recommend insuring your jewelry with a 3rd party insurance company or with your home/rental policy.

We understand that things happen in life. Don’t panic, in most of the time, the ring can be repaired.

Please contact us via email and we will provide an estimate for the repair and guide you through how to send the piece to us for the service.

In most of the case, we are able to take a small reasonable fee (normally between 100USD to 200USD for issues that are unrelated to the main gemstone) for reparing or cleaning your jewelry. The cost for shipping is your own responsibility, both to us and back again.

If the center stone is lost or damaged permanently
We can normally help you source a new stone and re-set it.  However, the cost of replacing a new center stone will cost about 25%-35% of the original price. Please refer to our care instructions to avoid any potential risks of damaging your jewelry.

If the shipment arrives at your address but cannot be delivered due to personal reasons, such as an incorrect address or absence of the receiver, the buyer must take responsibility and contact their local post office to resolve the issue. If the shipment is sent back to us, please let us know immediately so we can monitor the situation. Please note that a redelivery fee will be required and the item will only be scheduled for redelivery once we receive it back.

Cancellation within 24 hours of purchase

You can request a cancellation within 24 hours of purchase. However, a cancellation will incur a 5.5% cancellation fee due to the payment processors charging a 5.5% processing fee and not refunding us for canceled orders. If you request a cancellation within 24 hours of purchase, you will receive a 94.5% refund back.

Cancellation after 24 hours of purchase

After 24 hours, your order will go into production, and we can no longer stop the production process. Please note that the amount of time and effort we spent on each order can’t be canceled. Therefore there will be a restocking fee of 40% for all cancellations that are requested after 24 hours.

Note: custom-made orders can’t be canceled at any time.
